Well Dec.23 we wrote and sent off our application and Letter of Intent (LOI) and this morning Dec.26th we received Pre-Approval!!! This is BIG!! This makes it official. This is China telling us that they give us permission to go ahead with the adoption of this little girl. We are in shock at how fast this is all happening! The computer system was going to be shut down (in China) from Dec. 27th-Jan 5th, so we weren't expecting to hear anything until after then. But God is clearly moving mountains for us! We are so blessed by His goodness and love! And He loves this little girl and will take care of her until we get there. So now.......we got the address of the orphanage that she is in and we can send her a care package. What to send a little girl that has nothing? That has to fit in a shoebox? I just don't know where to start! This is all craziness. Please pray for our (yes, OUR) little girl, that she is well taken care of, that she stays healthy. Please pray that we can get through all this paperwork and home studies and everything else quickly so we can get her home asap!
Psalm 118:8&9 was our wedding text. "It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man. It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in princes." Stands true today as well. The whole chapter really!!
