Safe and sound

We arrived last night at 7:20pm, Thursday evening Beijing time. The flight was really good, boys did great! We are blessed to have great travelers. They loved watching movies and playing games on the iPad. Hey, whatever works on an 11hr flight! I did not sleep at all on the plane, just cannot sleep sitting up. Ryan and Pauline managed to doze here and there. We got through customs no problem, found our bags no problem, and then saw our guide George holding up a sign that said,WELCOME  CCAI FAMILY. That's us!

He led us to a mini bus and we went to our hotel. We all settled in and went straight to bed. Right now it's 4:30 in the morning and Tyler, Ryan and myself are all wide awake. At 9am we meet George and five other families in the lobby. From there we hop on a big bus and head to the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. I'm looking forward to it! I dreamt about the Great Wall last night and that we missed our bus to get there and we had to walk.

We are thanking God for traveling mercies and for protecting us! Thank you all for your prayers!!

Till tomorrow!!
